Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://213.154.77.59/SOURCES/.Features/.Hydrological/.Lakes/.MajorLakes/.depth/%5Bgid+%5Ddetrend-bfl/gid+differences/gid+partial/dods')
